Waiting for the UPS Guy

Have you ever noticed that when you are expecting a package, I mean really anxious for it to arrive, the delivery guy takes FOREVER to get there?

That’s me today. I’m a professional dieter. Not something to be proud of, but something to end. It’s not that I don’t know the proper way to lose weight, I really do. Heck I even have a nutrition coach as a client! I just don’t have the emotional strength to do it. I’m sure many of you can relate.

I know, “How does this related to the UPS guy?” A few years ago I stumbled across a nutritional system called Isagenix. I read the literature, talked to the rep who’s pictures were splattered on her marketing material. She lost so much weight…nutritionally. Maybe not the way my coach would do it, but she got healthy and she lost the weight. And the products aren’t bad…they are very nutritious in their own right. However at the time I met her there was no way I could afford it. So I waited.

I joined Facebook last weekend and had “become friends” with another Isagenix rep. I wasted no time and signed up.

So today my stuff arrives. And I’m worse than a kid at Christmas. I can’t wait. I’m tired of how I feel physically, emotionally and spiritually. I’m ready for a change and today’s the first day! I am so sure that this system is going to help me lose the weight, keep it off, and feel better that I’m putting it out there for the whole world to follow my progress!

Stay tuned…and please feel free to comment, I’d love to hear from you! Where is that darn UPS guy!?!

  1. Miss Tracey -

The first thing that pops into my mind is the old adage “A watched pot never boils.” Popular way before your time but pretty accurate just the same!! So believe me You Are Not Alone.

I must take issue with you about one thing. Knowing you as I do, for you to say that you don’t have the emotional strength to do ANYTHING is a big crock of @#$%^&. You are an amazingly strong and determined woman. One other thing I’d like to pass on and i can’t rememberr who said it but it’s along the lines of “When the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of making the change, You’ll make the change!”

Thank you for Being a Friend (Do you remember The Golden Girls? or was that before your time too?

    XXXOOO,
    Susan
